General Rules

• ONLY serving residents of Gloucester, Rockport, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Essex, Ipswich, Rowley, Topsfield, Boxford, Hamilton, or Wenham.
• Qualified clients are eligible to request a referral once every 6 months.
• By requesting a referral, you are stating that you do not have the resources to purchase the items.
• Referrals are issued for necessities only.

Clothing Items

• SIX items of regularly priced clothing (with a total value of $40 or less)
• ONE coat (priced at $15 or less)
• ONE suitcase, duffel bag, or backpack (priced at $10 or less)
• ONE scarf or hat; and ONE pair of mittens or gloves (each priced at $5 or less)
• ONE pair of shoes (priced at $10 or less) and ONE pair of socks (priced at $3 or less)
• Excluded items: Boutique clothes and clothing priced higher than our standard prices.

Household Items

• Necessities such as pots and pans, dishes, cooking utensils, drinking glasses/mugs, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, sheets, towels, blankets, and lamps as available are eligible for a referral.
• Excluded items: Bric-a-brac, pictures, and other nonessential items.

Furniture Items

• Sofa/couch (priced at $75 or less)
• Easy chair (priced at $45 or less)
• Bureau, desk, or dresser (priced at $30 or less)
• Dining room table with chairs (priced at $45 or less)
• Other items at the manager’s discretion

Directions to Second Glance

From the intersection of Rte. 128 and Eastern Avenue, head east of Eastern Avenue towards Rockport. Go .09 miles and take a left onto Pond Road (across from the Captain’s Lodge Motel).  Second Glance is the second building on the left.
